Cheer

Our cheer team had a great final competition before State! Our girls basketball team, King’s teachers and administrators showed up to support our comp team as they finished in 2nd place in a crowded field of larger schools and qualified for State! Congratulations to Coach Emilie and the team on all the hard work paying off!

Next Up: Feb 6 or 7 State Championships at Battleground High School

Girls Basketball

Molly

Girls Basketball continues to impress in their matchups with higher classification schools this season, including most recently a win over 4A North Creek to move to 11-4 on the season. The Knights continue their non-league schedule with a crosstown showdown against Shorewood on Thursday night, followed by a Saturday home date with Toppenish.

Planning ahead, you don’t want to miss Senior Night as we celebrate our 4 special seniors on Feb 6, game at 5:00pm with ceremony immediately after. The class of 2026 is lead by Adeline Cox, Kaitlin Cramer, Kaleo Anderson, and Maddie Schilperoort.

Next Up: Jan 22 at Shorewood 7:15pm

Next Home Game: Jan 24 vs Toppenish 3:00pm

Boys Basketball

The Knights boys team has had a strong season so far, winning the San Diego Tournament and compiling a record of 10-5 overall. After a tough MLK Jr Day matchup against Auburn Mountainview, the Knights will look to rebound this Saturday as they take on Toppenish at home. A critical league matchup follows at Bear Creek next Friday night, where the Knights will look to avenge an early season loss to the Grizzlies.

The Knights will celebrate their 7 special seniors Feb 6 prior to the 7:30pm tipoff against Northwest. The class of 2026 to be honored is Greyson Armbruster, Colton Adams, Trey Dennison, Warren Bartram, Dozie Asinobi, Andrew Gerbig and Blake Needham.

Next Up: Jan 24 vs Toppenish 4:30pm
